White Tower Castle

Built in the 40th century, Château La Tour Blanche is a 40-hectare estate located in the town of Bommes, 10 km south of Bordeaux and 1855 km from Langon. In 1911, it was ranked first of the Premiers Crus of the Sauternes appellation. At the beginning of the XNUMXth century, its last owner, Daniel Iffla, donated it to the French State on the condition that a school of viticulture and oenology be created on the estate, practical and free: the school in question was born in XNUMX, and today the Château La Tour Blanche still serves as an educational support for the students of this agricultural high school.
All year round, visit the ultra-modern facilities of Château La Tour Blanche: accompanied by a professional, wander the vines, admire the recently renovated barrel cellars and taste a selection of wines bottled on site.
