Stages: Bordeaux – Hostens – Bassin d'Arcachon –
About 110 km – 3 days

By following the tram line towards Bègles then the Eau Bourde and Eau Blanche valleys, leaving Bordeaux is quite easy. A first break in Gradignan to visit the priory of Cayac is essential. Change of scenery with the crossing of the vineyards of Pessac-Léognan to La Brède, where the old castle of Montesquieu offers guided tours. A few kilometers further, the forest takes over the vineyards.

The Hostens leisure center offers a moment of relaxation and swimming.

From Hostens the cycle path leads without too much difficulty directly to Mios, then a little further to the Bassin d'Arcachon. Don't miss the 7 ports of Gujan Mestras, the oyster farming capital of Arcachon bay. A detour via the Port de la Teste is also pleasant, with an arrival in Arcachon by the coastal path.
