Slide ocean side
Followers of the left or bitten of beautiful rights, the waves unroll in both directions, for all levels and all styles. On the coast, the sandbanks allow the practice of surfing, body-boarding or paddle.
Our best surf spots:
“Beginner” spots: Soulac-sur-Mer, the Plage du Gurp, Montalivet or our natural favourite, the Plage de Vensac. By far the wildest. You will be able to see many vestiges of the Second World War there at low tide. Bunkers and blockhouses, colorful, are the beach version of street-art.
The “intermediate” spots: Hourtin, Carcans, Le Porge and our favourite, La Jenny. The beach is exclusively naturist and the place very preserved. Don't worry, if the water is chilly, we allow you the wetsuit!
“Expert” spots: Le Grand Crohot, Le Truc vert and its neighbor the Garonne, which is a little less frequented. You are on the peninsula of Cap Ferret, here the sandbanks are like the waves, they are always in motion and perfect for nice rollerblading.

The practice of water skiing with or without barefoot is not lacking in places to make pretty curves: Carcans-Maubuisson, Lac de Lacanau, Baurech or Lac de Cazaux.
Wakeboard
Wakeboarding, once reserved for a few initiates, has become much more popular since the invention of the towed cable or ski lift. The biggest in the world, The Dahu Wake Park in Sablons, is located near Libourne. Accessible to all, this activity is practiced all year round, in sites where nature is omnipresent. Moreover, cable park from Avensan remains our favorite for its exceptional natural environment.

Kite surfing
Adrenaline guaranteed with the kite, but be careful to avoid a collision with an oyster stake, refer to the prefectural decree of the town that welcomes you! Our 3 favorite kite spots: Hourtin-Port, Lacanau North Beach (practical attention prohibited before 19 p.m.) and the La Hume spot in Gujan Mestras
Stand Up Paddle
SUP for insiders, the paddle can reserve surprises: yoga or sheathing by force of balance, it is an excellent way to couple the leisurely stroll and the muscu. An advice ? Try a morning walk between the Dune du Pilat and the Banc d'Arguin or even an end of the day in the middle of the Leyre delta near the ornithological park of Teich, a marvel!
