The walk takes you through the Bois des Sources du Peugue de Pessac, a natural site, partly classified as a Sensitive Natural Area, which is the western starting point of the Coulée Verte du Peugue. You take here a part of the metropolitan GR of Bordeaux.
This 113-hectare forest site is one of the largest wooded areas in the Bordeaux conurbation. It is made up of a great diversity of tree species, a beautiful pond, a lagoon and a pond, real places for observing fauna and flora. Its different environments (wetlands, pine and deciduous forests) give this place a wild charm.
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a stroller or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the French Hiking Federation of the Gironde.

Your itinerary

The start
From the car park, avenue du Pont Aérien, go around the metal barrier and take the alley in front of you. Marking GR Bordeaux Métropole (red and white). Turn right on the driveway in front of you, leave the one on your left. Turn left on the wooden bridge, follow the markings. At the end of the bridge, turn left. On your left, playground. Continue in front of you on the marked path, which enters an undergrowth. The path ends in an alley, turn left on this gravel alley, on your right "the devil's pond". Cross the clearing, always follow the GR markings. Turn right on a winding path in the woods. After crossing two ditches on wooden bridges, turn left, cross the ditch, follow the GR markings.

Back
Cross again a wooden bridge, take the natural path in front of you, leave the paths on the right and on the left. The path leads to a sandy and grassy driveway, turn left (GR markup on your left on the driveway). On the white gravel driveway, after crossing a bridge in a bend, turn right on a path that takes you back to the starting point and car park.
