Your itinerary

Church Square / Caussan Chapel

Take the Route de la Cardonne in front of the town hall, direction Château La Cardonne / Château Grivière / Ramafort. Walk on the shoulder to the left of the road for more safety. On your left, you will see the Moulin de Courrian. A little further on your right, a vineyard hut.

Chateau Romefort

Take the path to the right at the information panel "Château La Cardonne" after the drainage ditch of the vine. Follow this white path which will lead you through the vines. You will see in the distance on your right the steeple of Caussan.

Old Colombiers Cooperative Cellar

At the next intersection, turn left and follow the asphalt road.

Chateau Chantelys

At the end of this road, turn right and pass in front of the Château Chantelys.

Mission Cross

At the crow's feet, turn right "rue de Bensse" and go down the street keeping to the left, you will also pass to the left of a mission cross representing the Virgin Mary.

Saint Martin Church (Chapelle de Prignac)

Follow the paved road that crosses the vineyards and take the dirt road on your left to the junction with the D103. Turn right and walk along the Departmental for about 80 meters. Cross the D103 with caution and take the white path "rue de la Lagune". At 350m, cross the D3 and go opposite. At 250m turn right towards the forest, the wood of Petre, then go around it along the trees. Turn left and take the path in the forest which will turn right then left to reach a housing estate. Turn left towards the Chapelle de Prignac and its cemetery.

Saint Martin Street

Go down the rue de la Croix. At the crossroads with rue de la Prade go straight on. At 80m turn right in front of the stone house "chemin du bois" and cross the equestrian center by following the dirt track for 300m before turning left after the ditch to take the path in the undergrowth which runs along the last ground. Follow the path on your left along the ditch. Continue straight through the vineyards. At the intersection turn right and walk along the asphalt road for 380m.

Church of Saint Peter

After the fields turn left to take a dirt track in the undergrowth which will turn to the right. Take the street opposite "Passe du pré au loup". At the end of the pass, cross the route de la Métairie. Go opposite to walk along the plots of vines (Passe de la Butte). At the crow's feet, turn right and continue straight on towards the church of Saint Pierre de Civrac. Before the post office on the left, a pretty building and its tower. On the facade a sundial. You arrive at the Church of Saint Peter and its majestic bell tower.

The furnace

Go down the "Place de la Mairie" road and continue straight on the Blaignan road towards Le Fourneau. Turn left after the basketball court. At the end of this grassy path turn right and go straight ahead. At the end of the plot, turn right and follow the path to the entrance to the hamlet. Turn left "rue du Fourneau". At 160m turn right after the stone barn "chemin du Maillet".

Church Square / Caussan Chapel

Continue straight for 500m on a shaded dirt road alongside the vines. Before the electric pole located in the middle of the path, turn right between 2 rows of vines. Follow this winding path. At the end of the plot, turn left then right and follow the path until the intersection with a dirt road. Turn left then go straight. On either side of the path you can see stone vineyard huts up to the D103. Cross this road, taking your precautions and continue on the white path opposite towards the locality "La Landette" where the Les Noisettines company is based. Follow the road straight to find your starting point. You pass in front of the chapel of Caussan.
