PODENSAC

Listed as a Historic Monument in 2006, the castle and the park overlooking the Garonne were built in 1917 for the industrialist François Thévenot.
The exceptional park, planted with cedars, redwoods, magnolias, etc... is populated by numerous and remarkable statues. Bequeathed to the municipality, Parc Chavat has been the municipality's public garden since 1999.

The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a stroller or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the French Hiking Federation of the Gironde.

The start
