At the heart of the Hourtin nature reserve, the Contaut lagoon is an exceptional natural site and is one of the links in the chain of ponds and marshes that stretches behind the coastal dunes.
This pedestrian path brings you in the middle of royal ferns and giant ferns. A wooden walkway ensures you a comfortable discovery and allows you to appreciate the typical afforestation of wet soils in the process of natural drying. Interpretation panels are placed throughout this walk.
The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, quiet walks, with a stroller or a small bicycle, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the French Hiking Federation of the Gironde.
