CAST IRON
From the Saint-Front de Fontet church, immerse yourself in the soothing atmosphere of the Garonne canal. Then join the gravel pits in operation, then by small paths cross varied agricultural landscapes offering a nice view of La Réole.

The start
Departure from the car park of the Fontet nautical stop, return to the road then turn left and right towards the church

Bergen
At the junction on the right towards the canal, do not cross the bridge, follow the bank on your left

Careers
Cross the canal at the first lock then follow the small road in front of the bridge, go around the gravel pits to the D12 opposite the aerodrome

Canal
Turn left for 50 m then left again towards Blaignac. You are facing the canal, turn right and walk along it to the next bridge

Route
Cross then go left. Take the 1st right towards Blaignac

Church
When you see the church take the road on your left (terminal slightly hidden behind the signage), continue. At the 1st intersection keep to your right, at the 2nd also. At the next crossroads go straight ahead

Route
At the stop sign turn left. Cross Loupiac from La Réole

Path
At the exit of the village take the path on the right just before the Town Hall, follow it for 2 km

Route
Exit to the road, go left. Walk along the D9 to the right and cross to take the 1st road on your left. Go straight for 1,5 km

Turn right at the 2nd intersection then 1st road on the left and straight on for more than a kilometer

Intersection
At the T-junction go right. At the entrance to the village of Noaillac go right then at the stop sign continue on your left

Church
At the Noaillac exit sign, turn left again (you go around the village). Keep your left to return to the church and at its level take the road on your right. At 800 m at the stop sign take the opposite then continue on this road until the next stage

Canal
Just after the place called Rigoulène turn right. At the stop sign right then 100 m later left. You cross the canal and take along the bank on your left. You will follow the canal for about 4 km to Fontet

Back
Cross the canal at the 4th bridge then on your right continue along it to the Fontet nautical stop. Nautical stopover, go around the port to find the car park
