1

The start

From the Place de la Victoire, after admiring the Porte d'Aquitaine (1754) and the bronze turtles head towards Rue Sainte Catherine (the largest commercial street in Europe 1km 145) pass in front of the Place du Général Sarrail. Cross Cours Victor Hugo, then Cours d'Alsace Lorraine. 50m after this turn right, rue du Loup then left rue Arnaud Miqueu. Continue to its end and turn left onto rue du Cancera and immediately right onto rue des Piliers de Tutelle. We continue on the left by the rue du Parlement Sainte Catherine before finding the rue Sainte Catherine. Go right (don't forget to look at the Galerie Bordelaise), pass in front of the Galeries Lafayette and turn left on Rue Saige before reaching Cours de l'Intendance by turning right on Rue Combes.
2

Back

Possibility of making a small detour by going to the right to admire the large theatre. If not, go left on the cours de l'intendance and left again on rue Brochon then to the right on place Puy Paulin and right on rue Porte Dijeaux. Go down rue de Grassi to the left, take rue Poquelin Molière for a few meters then pass in front of the Athénée and going left by rue Beaubadat you come to place Pey Berland (superb square where you can admire the Saint André cathedral, on the right the town hall and the Saint Michel spire). Cross it to reach rue Dufour Dubergier and then Cours Pasteur before returning to Place de la Victoire.
