Your itinerary

1

Basilica of Our Lady of the End of the Lands

From the tourist office, at 68 rue de la plage, head towards Place Aliénor d'Aquitaine. You find yourself facing the forecourt of the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin-des-Terres. Before continuing, turn around to admire the twin villas Neptune and Amphitrite with gable eardrums decorated with shells in reference to Santiago de Compostela.
2

Old village of Soulac-sur-Mer

Walk along the right side of the church going up the rue de la plage and take the first street on your right, Joseph Lahens. You are in the old village of Soulac. A little further on your right, admire the building in which the Anna residence is located: it is a former convent.
3

Ker-Anna and Melita

Continue for 200m. Opposite you, at the corner of the street, stands the villa Ker-Anna, "Ker" meaning "inhabited place" in Breton or "the house inhabited by Anna". Just opposite, on your right, you can observe a small blue villa named Mélita.
4

Hermitage and Velleda

Continue on your way then take the second street on the right, rue Ausone, then the first street on your left, rue du Cardinal Donnet. After 30m, observe on your left the Villa Ermitage and its Bow-Window style. Continue along this street until you come across Villa Velleda on the right, a two-tone villa, with a dominance of red and a contrast of white.
5

Villa Elmire and the twins: Mathilde and the Glycines

Retrace your steps and cross the intersection with rue Ausone. Go forward and look to your left. You are facing Villa Elmire, this imposing villa where red bricks and limestone stones are superimposed. Continue your way for 20 meters and observe, on the other side of the street, the twin villas Mathilde and Les Glycines at numbers 28 and 30.
6

Wallflower and La Rafale

Turn left on rue Désiré Hornez. Observe all these beautiful villas around you, then take the second street on your right, rue Brémontier. At number 32, on your right, you can observe the Villa Giroflée and its marine anchors. Then turn left onto rue de Variez then directly right onto rue Pastureau. At the left corner of it with rue Thiers, the villa La Rafale awaits you with its beautiful tower.
7

Oceano-Nox and Clémence Isaure

Take rue Thiers on your left then, directly to the right, rue des chasseurs. At the end, you can admire the Villa Océano-Nox, which owes its name to a poem by Victor Hugo. Turn right onto rue Trouche then the second street on the right, rue Brémontier. You are surrounded by typical villas. At the end of rue Brémontier, at the right angle in front of you, a large villa takes shape. This is the Clémence Isaure villa.
8

Aimee and 1900

Go back to rue Thiers on your left, then start going up towards the Tourist Office via rue du Cardinal Donnet, still on the left. Almost directly to your right you can see Villa Aimée 4 and its large neo-medieval style turret with large slate roofs. Continue on this street, just opposite the rear car park of the municipal market, on the right, the 1900 villa is offered to you. Formerly called Marie-Laurence, this villa was built in 1882 on the model of a villa in Fontainebleau. You can now return to the Tourist Office by taking Rue de la Plage to the left at the end of the street.
