The Glen-Tara villa is located in Taussat-les-Bains, in the heart of the Bassin d'Arcachon (municipality of Lanton) and 200 meters from the beach and in the center of a village where calm and authenticity reign in a very privileged place.
This mansion, built in 1865, is one of the oldest in the village. Built at the same time as the village church, it once housed the men and women of the church.
Also, it regularly hosted the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec who came to stay in Taussat-les-Bains accompanied by girls from "good company" to spend happy hours there. At the time, this residence was called La Closerie.
Following renovations, this house now opens its doors as a bed and breakfast under the name of Villa Glen-Tara.
Come and relax, stroll and enjoy the magnificent Arcachon basin.
