FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF GIRONDE

Safeguarding ancient villages

This is to enable the safeguarding and enhancement of old built heritage in villages or parts of towns classified as "old villages" with fewer than 15.000 inhabitants.
Bazas, Blasimon, Blaye, Bourg-sur-Gironde, Cadillac (intramural), Castelmoron-d'Albret, Créon, Gensac, La Réole, Monségur, Pellegrue, Plassac, Pujols, Rions, Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, Saint- Emilion, Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, Saint-Macaire, Soulac-sur-Mer

Beneficiaries – Associations and private owners who restore, in accordance with technical recommendations, a building located within a defined perimeter of “old villages” in the 19 municipalities. This building must present a quality and/or an architectural interest and be integrated into its urban and landscape environment.
Please note: the financial involvement of the municipality is mandatory.

Heritage Enhancement Association

This is to provide assistance to associations participating in the renovation of historical monuments, monuments of heritage interest.

Beneficiaries – Associations carrying out renovation projects for historical monuments which offer a multi-year program of property restoration work.

Animation of cultural heritage

This involves supporting the work and projects of associations relating to the cultural heritage of the Girondins.

Beneficiaries – Associations working to promote cultural heritage, cultural associations working more or less directly on heritage, associations working in favor of regional languages ​​and cultures, in particular Occitan.
