In order to strengthen their presence by your side, the Gironde Tourisme teams are mobilizing to offer a program of free webinars for their partners and Gironde tourism professionals, some of whom are directly in touch with Covid-19 news. The subjects of the webinars are varied, in connection with the missions and thematic sectors.

On May 7, 2020, Gironde Tourisme launched its first webinar, with Elise Fabing, Associate Lawyer at Alkemists Avocats, on the theme: Obligations of the employer in terms of health and safety of employees, and responsibility vis-à-vis customers [COVID-19]. In addition, Emilie Briand, Management Consultant at Inari Conseil, discussed the angle of the psychosocial risks inherent in the situation.

Webinar #22 The reform of the classification of furnished tourist accommodation (January 21, 2022).

A reform of the classification of tourist accommodation, integrating sustainable tourism criteria, will see the light of day in 2022. For furnished accommodation, the reform will be applicable on February 1, the new reference system has just been published (decree of November 24, 2021). For hotels, it will be effective on April 1; the accommodations will benefit from an extension of their current classification provided that they initiate the renewal procedure.
On July 1, a new classification will qualify hostels and collective hostels; without a level, this ranking will help to better promote these new attractive accommodation options for young customers.

Gironde Tourisme, in partnership with Bordeaux Métropole and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, presents to you with the AFNOR Group the issues, methods and impact of the implementation of the NF Environnement mark for visit sites.
