Seasonal rental, an eldorado?

For this seventh morning of Gironde Tourisme, an audience of nearly 200 hosts came together to exchange, learn and discuss a vast and complex subject. Seasonal rental workshops exceptionally completed this Morning, focusing on the best way to create an atmosphere in an accommodation, good practices for the maintenance of swimming pools, new developments in tourist tax or even the tax rules of the seasonal rental and finally labels and collective brands.

Hugo Cerioni, project manager for accommodation by individuals at the General Directorate of Enterprises was able to indicate the State's position on the regulation of the seasonal rental market. Claudine Camedescasse allowed everyone to identify the activity in Gironde through figures on the existing park.

The first round table highlighted with Jerome Payany the difficulties of recovering the tourist tax while highlighting the necessary regulation of the activity in the service of an inhabited territory, guarantee of its tourist attractiveness. The leisure market place presented by Annabelle Denis et Clement Pamelard (Bordeaux Métropole Tourist and Convention Bureau) has made it possible to understand the challenges of online marketing for leisure.

The second round table with Aurora Dalla Santa, Nicholas of Davydoff, Yves Buisson et Christopher Bergamini highlighted the need to reinvent the relationship between accommodation providers and tourist offices, through a professionalization plan, an accommodation quality plan or even personalized support.
