The great routes of Gironde

Several routes cross New Aquitaine and the department of Gironde, 2 eurovéloroutes EV1-La Vélodyssée and EV3-La Scandibérique, then a national cycle route the V80, the Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo.

The Vélodyssée®, is the French part of Eurovéloroute 1, which runs along the Atlantic from Norway to Spain. With its 1250 km in France, from Roscoff to Hendaye it is the longest cycle route in France. In Gironde the route is 170 km long.

Le Canal of the 2 Seas by bike connects the Atlantic to the Mediterranean over 750 km from Royan to Sète, via Blaye, Bordeaux, the Piste Lapébie, the Canal de Garonne, Toulouse and the Canal du Midi.

La Scandiberic, the French part of Eurovéloroute 3, connects Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, including 1680 km in France.
