St. Peter's Church

The church of Saint-Pierre, built in the 1500th century, has a nave of four bays, the easternmost of which forms the choir. The north aisle, added around 1920, has ribbed vaults resting on helicoidal piles. The flat chevet is remarkable for its four niches, made at the level of the chevet bays occupied by four XNUMXth century statues: Saint Peter, the Virgin in Majesty, Saint Michael and finally Saint Jacques in pilgrim costume. The painted decor, restored in the XNUMXth century, covers the walls and vaults and underlines the guiding lines of the architecture. Near the entrance, a large capital depicts Daniel between the lions. The church is surrounded by its cemetery, delimited by its three beautiful carved crosses. The church is listed as a Historic Monument (XNUMX).
