Market gardening museum

The museum, which exhibits a collection of more than 1700 tools, attests to the ingenuity of the gardeners who over time have transformed the marsh into a lavish garden. It recounts the evolution of market gardening activities, from plowing with a spade to today's mechanized cultivation.
In the monumental dovecote, the exhibition "from plowing to soup" evokes the preparation of the soil, sowing and planting, weeding, etc...). In the vegetable garden, you can discover vegetables from the region, some almost forgotten like the "embroidered giraumon d'Eysines" but also aromatic and medicinal plants.
