La Méca is the House of the creative and cultural economy in New Aquitaine. It hosts the cultural agencies of the Region dedicated to performing arts, books, cinema as well as the FRAC Aquitaine.
The Méca building is an extraordinary work, created by the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels. Located on the quays of Paludate, the building is 37 meters high and offers, from its open-air terrace, one of the most impressive panoramas of Bordeaux.
The building, whose use is dedicated to professionals, offers the public an outdoor space for urban walks and a panoramic terrace.
The FRAC exhibition spaces are open to the public (Wednesday to Sunday from 13 p.m. to 18 p.m. - one Thursday evening per month until 21 p.m.).
