In Malagar, in the footsteps of François Mauriac, everyone can find what they are looking for: for nature lovers, the superb panorama of the Garonne valley; for literary people, the visit to the estate imbued with the words of the Nobel Prize for Literature, for history lovers, the discovery of the journey of the writer engaged in his century. Heritage of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the estate is classified as a historic monument, labeled Maisons des Illustres, and its 4 hectare park is also classified.
After having undergone a major restoration project, Malagar has equipped itself with digital tools which enrich the guided tour of the House, the exhibition of the Chai du Rouge and the creation of an Escape Game, with helmet and controller. Literary walks, activities for children, hosting seminars, cultural events make Malagar a living and unmissable heritage site.
