In the middle of the woods, the buildings of La Solitude remind us of the role of the priest Pierre Bienvenu Noailles, founder of the congregation of the Holy Family, in Bordeaux in the years 1830-50. The facade is of great architectural rigor with its straight lines. The west facade expresses harmony through a set of lines at the level of the roofs.
