The Hôtel Labottière, a magnificent private mansion built in 1773 for the Labottière brothers, booksellers in Bordeaux, is the headquarters of the Center d'Art du Château Pape Clément.
Located in the heart of Bordeaux and completely renovated in 2010, it hosts modern and contemporary art exhibitions, bringing together works from public and private collections (notably that of Bernard Magrez).
The Labottière hotel also receives artists in residence for a maximum period of 12 months. Every Friday at 18 p.m. at the Pavillon du Château, guest artists talk with the public and an art critic about their works and their unique experience.
