350 meters from Place Pey-Berland and Saint-André Cathedral, the Aquitaine Museum occupies the premises of the former Faculty of Arts and Sciences, built at the end of the 1592th century on the site of the convent of Feuillants where Michel de Montaigne was buried in 700. It presents the history of Bordeaux and its region, from prehistory to the 000st century. Comprising around XNUMX pieces, its collections are divided into three main areas: archaeology, history and ethnography. The Musée d'Aquitaine accompanies your discoveries through temporary exhibitions, thematic workshops and, by appointment, guided tours.
