Cottage of the House of Nature

Between the Eyre delta and the Bassin d'Arcachon, on the territory of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park and forty minutes from Bordeaux, the ornithological reserve of Teich is a site of international importance for bird watching. . 120 hectares of forests, reedbeds, meadows, maritime marshes and lagoons are home to 260 species of sedentary or migratory birds.
Within the ornithological reserve, the Maison de la Nature du Bassin d'Arcachon welcomes school groups, young people and adults. Three buildings named after birds (waders, ducks and sparrows), covered with wooden cladding, offer 25 rooms and 62 beds. A living room with fireplace, a terrace on the water, a dining room, two meeting rooms, a multimedia projection room, a thematic library and a video library are at your disposal in a preserved environment.
