The island of Raymond, formed by a backwater of the Garonne bordering the municipalities of Rions, Paillet and Lestiac, is the last alluvial wetland of the Gironde. Restored and open to the public, the island is an important educational tool allowing everyone to reconnect with the Garonne and nature. Many tours are organized throughout the year.
Opening
For the tranquility of animals, dogs, even on a leash, are not allowed on the site.
