Migelane Forest

At the gates of Bordeaux, the Migelane forest, a sensitive natural space developed since 2016, reconciles forestry, public attendance and respect for ecological diversity.
268 hectares which can be discovered through four nature walk loops in the towns of Saucats, Martillac and La Brède.
The 1.4 km Petite Boucle is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility, with a floor for wheelchairs, an Ariadne's thread for walking independently with a guide stick and educational terminals written in Braille.
Then three other routes intertwine: the forest walk of 2.7 km (40 minutes), the geological walk of 5.2 km (1h20) and the long walk of 6.5 km (1h40).
At the foot of the immemorial oak tree of Montesquieu, choose one of the paths and enjoy your walk!
The outings are offered by the Geological Reserve of Saucats.
