Certainty – Graveyron estates

English, Spanish, Italian

The confrontation between fresh water and salt water certainly acts on nature, but also on man who has shaped the landscape to the rhythm of his economic activities: agricultural, salt, fish and forestry vocations.
These Sensitive Natural Areas are characterized for the Domaine de Couronne with dykes built by man: salt marshes and old fish reservoirs, and for the Domaine de Graveyron: wet meadows and salt meadows.
This area is home to many bird populations throughout the year, including some rare and protected species.
