Located on the shores of Lake Hourtin, Piqueyrot beach offers a breathtaking view of the entire lake. With shallow water and supervised swimming, children can have fun in complete safety. Conducive to calm and relaxation, Piqueyrot beach is ideal for getting away from the summer bustle, and rediscovering the gentleness of a lake. On the other hand, no secure cycle path along the small access road, be careful! The Lac de Carcans Hourtin is the largest natural freshwater lake in France, so it is a fragile area to be respected in all circumstances. Near the site is the Hourtin Dunes and Marshes Nature Reserve. Marked educational trails are at your disposal to allow you to discover in depth all the riches of this territory. Cycling, equestrian and pedestrian routes have been set up by the ONF.
