From the port of Arcins, you can admire the Gironde Estuary.
At the small port of Arcins, we simply land in front of the magnificent estuarine panorama.
It is a peaceful environment conducive to reverie: here, the plaice are part of the usual landscape, they spread their long legs in the waters of the estuary, their suspended nets patiently await the next tide (the opportunity to fish there for lampreys, shrimps or eels depending on the year).
We enjoy a splendid view of the Gironde, and the islands, which flow between the two shores: the green island is located just opposite Arcins, it is the largest of the islands which notably shelters a nature reserve.
We could spend hours watching the sun flicker in the ripples, trying to catch a glimpse of the birds nesting on the green island...
