Each year, the FF Hiking Gironde offers enthusiasts and hiking enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the Gironde from a new angle. This year, discover the Path of Amadour from June 23 to 28, 2023. After a welcome in Soulac-sur-Mer, one of the prettiest resorts on the Atlantic coast, 5 stages are organized in the Medoc Regional Nature Park.

Everything has been thought out to simplify your routes, they will be supervised and secured by the Girondin hiking clubs. On the linear stages, a shuttle service will take you to your starting point in the morning. No need to worry about supplies or picnics either. The volunteers take care of everything!
Also included in your package, 3 festive evenings to discover Médoc traditions without forgetting the wines of Bordeaux, in moderation.
The weekly rate is €215 (€200 for licensees).

Program of the Gironde on foot 2023

Your hiking week in Gironde begins on Friday June 23 with a welcome evening in partnership with the Médoc Atlantique Tourist Office, preceded by a discovery of the all-brick seaside resort of Soulac-sur-Mer: a choice of guided tour or route Terra Aventura.

Saturday June 24 – Soulac – Talais. 19,8 km
The first stage on Saturday June 24 will start from the Notre-Dame-de-Fin-des-Terres basilica, Iconic site in Gironde and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We let you discover its not trivial story! Your arrival will be in a magical place: the small oyster port of Talais.

Sunday June 25 – Pauillac Hike. 19km
The panoramas of the Gironde estuary, the largest in Europe, await you. On Sunday June 25, you leave from Port de la Maréchale in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne and end in Pauillac, capital of world-famous wines and Lafayette's departure point for America. The evening will be festive thanks to the Médoc Vignoble Tourist Office which welcomes you to the Maison du Tourisme et du Vin de Pauillac, facing the estuary!

Monday June 26 – Loop of Beychevelle, 17 km + festive evening in Fort Médoc
It is difficult not to be charmed by the irresistible vineyards of Bordeaux. So imagine a day where you set off to discover 17 wine châteaux in 17 km! This is what is offered to you on Monday, June 26 for the Beychevelle loop. The day will end in another UNESCO site and still Iconic in Gironde, Fort Medoc, for an evening in partnership with the Tourist Office of Margaux Médoc Tourisme. We should even observe the bats!

Tuesday June 27 – Loop of Margaux. 17km
Tuesday, June 27, you will once again discover the secrets of the vineyard and not the least since it will be the Margaux loop. An excerpt from Chemin d'Amadour, hints of the estuary and above all a lot of splendid landscapes in the middle of the vines.

Wednesday June 28: Arsac to Blanquefort, 17 km.
Finally, after a start in Arsac, it will be time to reach the gates of Bordeaux for an arrival all in greenery and rockeries in the Majolan Park in Blanquefort on Wednesday 28 June. You will then be rewarded for your efforts around a glass of friendship offered by Bordeaux Métropole. Believe in previous editions of Gironde on foot, real friendships develop during the journey.
